How does it work?
Each sensor can be programmed / calibrated to memorize the pressure of your tires. Once a sensor has been calibrated, if the pressure drops around 10%, the RED LED will flash on the sensor to indicate that your tire needs inflating. Using Tool B supplied, remove the sensor and inflate the tire to the correct pressure then re-fit the sensor and the LED will stop flashing.
Note: if you’re running a different tire pressure, you will need to re-calibrated the sensor to memorize the new pressure value
Installing and calibrating the Sensors.
Ensure all your tires are inflated to the correct pressure and the tires are ‘cold’.Using Tools A& B supplied, remove the top battery cover then slide off the anti-theft sleeve. To do this you’ll need to place Tool A at the bottom of sensor then place Tool B over the battery cover and rotate anti-clockwise.Once batteries and battery cover is removed, to calibrate and memorise the tire’s pressure, firstly insert Tool A into the sensor like shown below and rotate then centre(hexagon) part of the sensor anti-clockwise until it stops rotating. Now screw the sensor onto the tires valve stem, insert Tool A and rotate the centre (hexagon) clockwise until it stops turning. This stores the tire’s pressure value into memory. To test the sensor is working, fit the batteries and battery cover to the sensor then unscrew the sensor from the valve stem. As soon as the sensor is removed, the red ELD will begin flashing. If the LED doesn’t flash once the sensor is removed, please check the batteries are inserted correctly or repeat stops 3 and 4 .
We suggest you inflat more air after you calibrate sensors. For example, if you want LED alerting valve caps to blink at 30psi, you should calibrate LED at 30psi, secondly inflat tire to 31psi or higher. during use, if pressure drops to about 30psi or so, it would start to blink as alarm.
